Linalina at the Light Parade

To help support our Second Saturday Market, we have a booth at the light parade tomorrow, December 3, to sell linalina made by the Tancayo `ohana. We hope to see you there!

 

 

PRISM Symposium

Our annual symposium will be held at Kualana `Oiwi on Saturday, December 10 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.  Our keynote speaker will be Arleone Dibben-Young, a specialist in coastal areas and wetlands.  Student groups will present the results of their environmental issue investigation as well.  A few of the issue topics are the overfishing of aquarium fish, the health of estuaries, mangrove removal, and the impact of throw netting on the reef.  Our emcees will be Pakalana Nakayama and Makalei Ah Loy.  We will also be awarding our student environmental excellence award at the symposium.
